PROPERTY PERFECT UNVEILS MASTER PLAN FOR KIRORO RESORT DEVELOPMENT

Property Perfect PCL., an award-winning property developer with projects throughout Asia, is pleased to present the master plan for Kiroro, an undiscovered gem located in the heart of Hokkaido, Japan. A mountain village already popular with ski and board enthusiasts because of its ideal snow conditions, Kiroro is being transformed by Property Perfect into a charming, year round Japanese alpine destination with world class hotels and residences, a dynamic restaurant and bar scene, and shops and other mountain amenities with wide appeal to vacationers of all types.

With a world-wide reputation for safety and hospitality along with a rich culture, Japan is considered a top year-round destination for global travelers, especially those from within Asia, growing at a brisk rate of more than 200 percent over the last decade. Similarly, Hokkaido, the northernmost of Japan’s main islands, has emerged as a favorite all-season outdoor destination offering stunning scenery, world-class skiing, and a host of recreation activities.

“We knew when we discovered Kiroro that we had an opportunity to create something unique and special,” said Mr. Chainid Adhyanasakul, CEO of Property Perfect PCL. “We are redefining the Asian alpine experience by building a connected and cohesive mountain community with easy access to the world’s best ski powder, outstanding mountain experiences and the seaside towns of Hokkaido.”

Kiroro is an alpine resort in the heart of Hokkaido, away from the crowds of other nearby resorts and offering Japan’s deepest snow and untouched scenery. With over 20 meters of powder snow every winter and pristine outdoor recreation all summer, Kiroro is rapidly becoming a favorite destination for vacationers of all types.

Property Perfect acquired the Kiroro Resort in 2012 with a vision of creating the premier alpine destination in Asia, and the company is investing $100 billion Japanese Yen into the destination over the next decade to bring it to its full potential.

The Kiroro Master Plan lays out an integrated, all-season alpine resort that is uniquely Japanese and truly world-class and five star by nature. Over the next 10 years, Property Perfect will develop a charming valley village at the base of the mountain with a range of exclusive luxury villas, townhomes and apartments centered around the Gateway, Hokkaido’s first premium ski club and center with ski-in and ski-out access to shops, restaurants, services and a kids center. The village offers integrated dining and shopping areas, alpine amenities and convenient access to outdoor activities and local attractions.

Property Perfect has already renovated and rebranded two existing hotels within the worldwide Marriott portfolio. The Sheraton Hokkaido Kiroro Resort offers 140 guestrooms right at the base of the slopes, while the Kiroro, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel offers 282 guestrooms and suites, each with mountain views.

YU KIRORO LUXURY CONDOMINIUM

By the end of 2019, Property Perfect will complete Yu Kiroro, an award-winning collection of exclusive ski-in ski-out private residences at the base of the mountain. Yu Kiroro offers 1, 2, 3-bedroom and penthouse freehold luxury private residences that are fully-furnished with premium services such as ski valet, a natural indoor-outdoor onsen, 24-hour concierge, fitness center and lounge, and all-day dining.

A lively dining district with 11 restaurants and bars has opened up in the village offering an array of international cuisines to please every palette from fresh Hokkaido sushi to artisan Italian to hearty international buffets. Moreover, visitors can enjoy a variety of different dining and bar settings whether on the slopes, sitting street side at an outdoor café, or on a deck with beautiful mountain views. Kiroro’s bar and lounge scene will be built out over the next decade with additional venues.

The resort has curated a host of year-round, outdoor activities that take full advantage of Kiroro’s spectacular environs and Hokkaido’s cultural attractions. The Kiroro ski season, the longest in Japan, runs from late November through early May. The ski resort features 2 peaks with 22 groomed runs and acres of ungroomed, off-piste powder and tree skiing, accessible by 9 lifts and a gondola. An additional combi gondola/ski lift will open in late 2019 and connect the two hotels and Yu Kiroro to the ski runs, making it a truly ski-in/ski-out development. The resort’s Mountain Center can coordinate activities on and off the mountain, which include a snow park, guided snow cat and snowshoeing tours and more. In the summertime, the resort can coordinate golf, fishing, hiking and tours of nearby seaside towns.
